Is there an ego?
Here is the answer to this question from the «Advaita Fibel» by Patrick Aigner («Advaita Primer», translated from German):
For WHAT AWAKENING IS, the question is meaningless. Whether you call one, twelve or no ego your own, WHAT AWAKENING IS does not even perceive that. You could also be on the way as four people at the same time with ego, sense of self, etc. Nothing would change for WHAT AWAKENING IS. It would not change WHAT AWAKENING IS.
